17 cousins win big in Missouri

Missouri Governor Mike Parson has pardoned Mark and Patricia McCloskey.

The couple had pointed guns at protesters outside their St. Louis home last year.

The McCloskeys pleaded guilty to misdemeanors in June and were fined.

Parson said the couple had acted lawfully and defended themselves and their property.

The couple had become conservative heroes and spoke at the Republican National Convention.

The pardon was criticized by Democrats and civil rights groups.

Parson has defended his decision, saying it was based on the couple's lack of a criminal record and their willingness to take responsibility for their actions.
